Terrazza Aruna is a restaurant based in Napoli, Italy. I was assigned the task to create the logo for this business that could talk about elegance and high-quality cuisine. Having worked in the hospitality industry for a while, I was very eager to work on this project!
The restaurant is named after the huge open terrace (Terrazza) looking over the Gulf of Napoli, and the Hindu god of the rising sun (Aruna) as the venue is constantly bathing in sunlight.
After a few research on Hindu mythology, I gathered information on the venue itself. I then organized my ideas through a quick mindmap and started drawing soon after.

With the client's approval, I decided to use the orangy-red colour associated with the sunrise for the word "Aruna" and created a quick decorative motive to finish up the logo.
